When posting fanfiction on AO3, you can tag your work with "kafblade week 2025" if you would like. A collection will not be created.
All NSFW works must be tagged as NSFW and preferably marked as sensitive if possible.
Background ships are allowed, but the focus should be on KafBlade!
All fanwork is allowed. Art, fanfiction, videos, edits, cosplay, playlists, headcanons, theories, etc. Everyone is encouraged to participate however they can.
AI-generated works of any kind are NOT allowed.
Prompts don't need to be strictly adhered to. Please treat them as general suggestions/guides.
Late submissions are allowed. Please don't feel like you absolutely must post during the week. We will be sharing work even after KafBlade Week has ended. Just make sure you tag appropriately and use the hashtag if you wish for us to retweet it.

Q: What determines whether something should be tagged as NSFW?
A: Due to the nature of KafBlade's dynamic and popular fan interpretations of said dynamic, we are aware that the line between SFW and NSFW can feel a bit blurry at times. We are currently only asking for works to be tagged as NSFW and marked as sensitive content on Twitter if something explicit/graphic is being depicted. Things with sexual implications or undertones won't necessarily warrant a NSFW tag. As long as nothing explicit is actually being shown (like straight up porn or nudity of the non-artistic variety), then it should be fine to leave untagged. If you're ever unsure, feel free to err on the side of caution.Q: Can I create work about KafXing (Kafka/Yingxing)?
A: Yes, you can create work about KafXing! Although this event mainly focuses on KafBlade, we don't feel the need to restrict it to only one "variation" of them since many fans of KafBlade are also fans of KafXing, and some also view it as an extension of the former. There's also a KafXing AU prompt available for this year's event!Q: Do I have to strictly follow the prompts?
A: No! Please treat the prompts as general suggestions. They're mainly here to help inspire you and to provide some direction. You can interpret them as loosely as you like. There is also a "free day" where you can make whatever you want! (But also, don't let our prompts stop you from making whatever you feel called to make.)Q: I can't draw/write/I can only do [x]!
A: That's totally okay! Everyone is encouraged to participate however they can regardless of skill level. If you want to create edits, feel free to do so. If you want to post headcanons or theories relating to the prompts, that is more than okay. Want to create a playlist? Go ahead!
